This night we ended up at Kusumajaya inn. Our plan was to stay in Amed, but the places we found did not look very nice. We wanted ideally a nice room with aircon, this was not available. But, instead we found this nice place at 38 000 INR which was clean, friendly with snorkeling and a very good nasigoreng. The place had a fan, nice marble floor and a perfect location. It was absolutely the best place this far, nice, clean and away of anything,. And, best of all, absolutely no-one trying to sell as a lot of things!
The road here was not particularly nice. After Amed the road was in really poor condition. But, hang out, the goal is great!
Here you see the garden of the nice hotel. Very well maintained of a nice gardener. It is a young family operating the place (we did not see any elderly people, which I thought was a bit unusual).
The snorkeling was great on this black sand beach. It is amazing to have black sand all over and still not a problem of getting filthy. The snorkeling was really good, as good as when I took my PADI scuba diving certificate in Puerto Galera at the Philippines. You just had to remember to get out in the morning, in the evening it was low water and very difficult to get out. But a lot of tropical fish was seen, nice!

One of the things with Bali: There are dogs and cats all over the place. Fortunately, most of them are lazy and well behaved.
