This is one of the nicest hotels in Asia, and probably the whole world. Unfortunately I considered the suite rate of USD $300+ as a bit to pricy so we settled for the Sheraton at Scotts road using the Axis corporate rate instead. `But having seen the Raffles is a must, especially after the late 70:s TV series "Mission in Singapore" with Bruce Boxleiter which took place here sometime in the 40:s.
Here we go to the world famous Raffles hotel.

Hmm, I feel dizzy... Also, note the fans in the roof, special to the Raffles Long bar.
Singapore is an extremely tidy city. But, at the long bar you are supposed to throw the rests of your peanuts on the floor!
